Hurrah for another 12 months MoT on the old girl.
Not really needed before January but my current health situation prompted me to put it in early in case I get operated on and taken off the road. Also I'd planned to have it done by the end of October anyway as having to drag the beastie out of hiding in mid-January was always a bit of a chore and dicey weather-wise.
The "damage" this time is apparently a broken headlight adjuster motor assembly on the nearside. How that got to be broken is anyone's guess. A jury-rigged solution was put in place by my mechanic to ensure the light was pointing in the right direction for the MoT test. Replacement part has been sourced and will be fitted in due course.
