Hi All
just a quick not to introduce myself and my Car. I recently joined the club at the Classic Car Show at the NEC.
I've got an early 912 - 1966, 3 gauge, 5 speed. It came over from California last Sept. I've been out and about most of this summer and the cars not missed a beat.
a couple of pics for you

Welcome to the club, Dave.

You have a nice looking 912 there - but do tell us more about it!

[attachment=porsche 2.png] [attachment=1516.JPG] Thanks Arfor.

Last Sept I bought it from a guy in California who had had the car for about 1 year after finding it in a garage where it had been hiding for about 15 years (see pic)

he recommissioned it. My car is originally Aga Blue but was sprayed Grey at some point during the 1980's so it's been this colour for longer than it was ever Aga Blue. the paint now has some great patina. it's very solid underneath and the engine runs great with good compression.

I've been enjoying the car all summer and have put on about 5k miles including a road trip to Ninove in Belgium (an air cooled show)

Away now for the winter but very much looking forward to getting about and about and showing it off next summer

Dave

Yes, a very attractive car indeed, Dave and I'm sure that the Register Secretary will be pleased to add your rare car to the 912 Register.

Arfor.
