Hi I've just joined the forum, I reconise some of the names from TIPEC

I have a 1991 Turbo that I have been restoring over the past 12 months .......despite being an automotive engineer for several years I know next to nothing about cars ...but I am a good engineer
Following posts on the various forums I have stripped the car had full body respray, waxoyled and am in the process of installing the new interior new headlining, dash, carpets, seats, door cards, trim etc ...before this never even topped up the oil on a car:ROFLMAO:

Here are a few pictures of progress so far ...I sure I'll be asking for more help soon...so thanks in advance[:D]

Welcome Ken - I'm sure your Turbo will be one of the best around once you are finished. I hope you won't be too reluctant to drive it!

Hi and welcome to this side,
You can post more than one pic at a time, hope you are going to post pics of those gorgeous seats soon?

Just click image tag and paste link from host site such as photobucket then click image again and paste next picture link, someone with more knowledge may explain it a bit better soon

Hello and welcome, I have always liked these cars in black, yours looks good. You should be able to post multiple images, I usually just upload to imageshack or similar, copy the image location or url and post the text into the message body, highlight and click image button to display.

"not driving your car is like not have sex with your wife, in the hope it will make her more attractive to other men"

I will drive it every day (except in rain and snow).. lol

Welcome over here - I remember seeing you post of the pics of those seats on TIPEC recently. OMG they're are to die for [8D]

Cant wait to see it all finished - how long do you think before it's done?

Cheers
Andy

they are 944 seats but I had the 928 inserts added as I like the shape...it just needs a couple of extra holes in the base cushion, the leather is etched by laser to create the badge and Pasha pattern, the leather is then dyed and re-finished

Finish on March 5th.....but then I want to rebuild/clean/re-plate then engine, then ECU upgarde, then suspension

Welcome! Car looks great. That looks like one mighty big garage you have there!! Would kill for that sort of space :)

Welcome on board Ken, your car is looking more and more stunning every time I see it [:)]

Keep up the good work

Welcome aboard.

This is impressive craftsmanshift on the seats... Would they happen to redo cloth seats too?

Thanks for the nice comments, the garage is not mine I just rent the space whilst the car is being rebuilt!

yes I agree that 928 interior is scary ....it belongs to Paul who owns the company I have found them very easy to deal with

They will do cloth leather,...crocodile! anything...they can convert standard seats into sport seats, and they can motorise all the seat functions ....i.e recline, lumber etc

Had a day off work today so got some time on the car I will post pictures on "what did you do to your car today"

Will be nice to see it finished, although sounds like you'll be doing every nut and bolt! Like what you did on the sills with the vinyl [;)]
