New Member' s night

I liked the idea of the next R5 meeting being a " new member' s night" as noted in the latest Porsche Post.

I haven' t managed to get along to one of these yet, and being new to a club is always difficult to start with.

I' m hoping to get there - assume it' s on the 9th July?

Rgds,

Rob

Me and my good lady wife are also hoping to come along to the new members night so, rest assured Rob, you will not be the only newbie there !!!

Don' t forget all you shy Region 5 members, tonight is the new members evening at the Deanwater. But it' s not just for new members but for all those members who never make it normally for what ever reason. So don' t be shy - just come on down! [:)]
PS Lloyd' s even organised some butties with the Deanwater! [8D]

Me ' n ' er had a really good night and were made to feel really welcome. Thanks to Lloyd and everone who contributed to this

I' m glad you enjoyed it. As Rob Sharp implied, I think it' s an unobtrusive opportunity to come to a meeting, knowing that several others are new too and that there is no " plan" to follow. I think it may have to become an annual event. Don' t forget that we do have a turnover of membership and each year there will be new members. Anyway, I' m pre-empting my September report... you' ll just have to wait till then to read it in the Porsche Post!
Regards
Lloyd
