Hi All, I've not long been a member, I've got an 89 944s2, having seen the Porsche Post and the reading the forum this is perfect for me to get The Old Girl running smoothly.

Look forward to the Club Meets

Cheers

Ian

Hi Ian,

Welcome to the fold, lots of good info on here and the chaps are very helpful so you are in good hands.

Get some pics up and keep us up to date with any news, Happy New a Year, you are going to enjoy it [:)]

Hi Ian

S2 here too, my third 944, all great cars and the S2 is the pick of them.

Whereabouts are you and Andy was very remiss by not demanding pics!

Hi Both, thanks for the replies, I used to have an 87 924S, loved it !!, however, the 944S2 is a different beast. Just had a full service, health check and the belts changed. Looking at a re spray and alloy re furb early next year.

Do you guys get to the Region 8 meets ??

Loving the Candy Apple Red, really works.

Cheers guys

Ian

The S2 is indeed the pick of the 944 bunch, and the earlier ones were better made (with better steel) than the later ones. It should be a cracking car.

Yes, pics. Lots of pics. Nice and big and colourful and bright. And let us know whereabouts in the country you are as well as it's always good to find other local owners. I'm in East London - are you anywhere close?

Oli.

Do you guys get to the Region 8 meets

The local guys might, but the Registers tend to be more nationally-based than regional.

Welcome, and please keep an eye on the events sticky for next year's meets. You can also look for the facebook group "UK Transaxle", where a lot of local events are posted.

Is yours Titan Silver? must have been on the production line at the same times a mine! [:)]

It needs to be hosted by Photobucket or similar.

Then use the code
afterwards.

Hi and welcome,

Lets have a picture or 2, it is mandatory!! [:D][:D]

Mersea as in Colchester?

Hi Paul, Love it !!! I had a 924S but had issues when the rubber doughnut on the auto box gave up the ghost, however the S2 is a different beast. Hopefully of to Le Mans in June with her.

Going to pop down to my first R8 meeting next month and meet some of the other guys.

Hi, good to hear from another New Member. Just had all the belts done on the S2 a full service and a general health check. She drives great now and I reckon has 200 of the 211 horses left. Can't wait to get stuck into the cosmetics and get her tidied up. She's booked in for a re spray and alloy refurb so should look a lot straighter for the spring.

Have you got any pics of your Cab. 944S2 cabs are for me the best looking soft tops on the road. Look forward to seeing her.

Cheers, Ian
