... and so worth it when it is done.
(Keep that in mind. A good 944 on a good road is as close to motoring nirvana as I have ever found.)

hear hear....I think the problem with 944 is they are way too cheap to buy. Because they are so plentyful and cheap we probably under-estimate them. When new they were I think nearly £40k which was supercar territory then. What would £40k be worth today ?

Southbound quoted me £595 to retrim the Recaro seat in Porsche OEM leather, which I think is reasonable considering the quality of work and amount of leather used, they will also retrim your gear knob for much less than the £220 new item from Porsche and they look identical, they even have all the different Porsche leather colours from our car.s If you want the factory look it costs ££ and yes you can get it cheaper but it can look tacky and tacky Porsches are the worst in the world...[:'(]

We must stop agreeing on this forum Nick. People will think that something odd is going on.ORIGINAL: peanut

To that end, I think it's time I changed my signature again. [

Most people won't spend lot's on their cars because they aren't worth much, and the reason they aren't worth very much is because most people won't spend money keeping them look mint (obviously none of us here, I'm talkin about all the other 944 owners [

Where did you get the cobalt set from? I have a linen interior with the navy dash/door tops too and my exterior is cobalt too, so much as I love the cream carpets, your photo looks excellent. Are you coming to Rutland, I'd love to pick your mind on refitting the carpetsORIGINAL: 944Scott
Ahh pretty much like mine then, are the tops of your dash dark blue or black? As mine are blue I put a set of cobalt coloured carpets in as its a good contrast.
