I'm very pleased to announce that Jon Trasler has offered to fill the vacancy for a new Register Assistant. You know him better here as Suffolk944, of course.

Jon's always been a very keen and helpful member of the team anyway, and most of you will have met him at the various events he's a regular at. I'm looking forward to having him help us in the new role, and thanks very much to Jon for volunteering. [:)]

Hi Jon. Well done.

(That's unofficial of course. As a non-member I'm not sure whether I can officially congratulate you! [:)])

Oli.

Has been said in the Porsche Post, but I'd also like to thank Peter for offering to stand in as a temporary assistant despite overwhelming work commitments.

And, of course, thanks for all the help Paul Smith has given over so many years. I'd not have considered taking the RS role on if it wasn't for him and his experience to fall back on. Thankfully he's still around as forum technical advisor and keeper of the 944 archives. As in, he's the only person who remembers where that elusive thread or picture was, and still the only person in the Club who can use the "search" facility properly. [:D][:D]

Ditto all of the above.

When Paul told me and said "Jon Trasler" I was pretty laid back. I couldn't remember who Jon Trasler was. [&o]

When it dawned on my that it was Jon Suffolk944 I was appropriately excited.

Top man Jon and welcome to the heady life of ARS hood. One day an ARS next a Director. It could happen [8|] (but not if you have any sense).
