With David Shadwell going to New Zealand it has been necessary to appoint a new Regional Organiser for the Manx Region.

Julian Chappell is your new R/O and I know you will give him your full support.

I would like to thank David for his work on behalf of the Cul and the Region and wish him happiness in his new life in a, slieghtly larger, Island.

Geoff Ives
Regional Director

Congratulations Julian and good luck to Dave and family on their big move. We think that Dave may now be joining the Land Rover owners Club instead [;)] It's in the blood though Dave, as soon as you find a couple of nice NZ roads you will be getting your cheque book out!

Congratulation to Julian to taking up the mantle, I know he's already been working hard for the club and the region and I'm sure that he'll get the support.
I look forward to raising another beer in the region. [:)]

Just to say big thank you to everyone wishing me all the best filling Dave's shoes - tall order! Thanks Tim for the photo - brings back good memories - don't forget to contact next time you are on island to meet up. Tom - nice looking car, look forward to the next Manx Tour. Once again, a BIG thank you to you all. [:)]

Tall order....no pun intended!

It seems a bit premature given I'm around until the end of July but I would like to express my sincere thanks for having me for so long. I've been involved with Region 30 since it began under the superb stewardship of Tony Corlett and it's been a blast.

I've met some fantastic people along the way, enjoyed many trips out in cars of various shapes and sizes and am honoured you have let me guide the Region to the best of my ability and within the time allocated to me by my wife.

I hope you've all got something out of the club over the years and am absolutely delighted Julian (Big J) has accepted the position of RO. You're in safe hands, superbly and ably assisted by Steve Morrow (Little S), and I hope you all continue to enjoy being part of the best region of the best club for a long time.

I'll be keeping in touch but am gonna miss you guys and gals.

Best regards
Dave
