Hi,
Has anyone here actually ordered a new Turbo S yet?
Centres seem rather vague on delivery dates.
It appears best case scenario is end of the year or first quarter of 2027.
I've owned Porsches since the late 1970's, so have been a fairly consistent customer of the marque having purchased from 4 different OPC's in my time.
I've enjoyed ownership of 5 of the previous Turbo S iterations so you might think I was a reasonable prospect for the next one along, yet not one of these Centres has been in contact.
Maybe all the order books are full already with no new customers being needed! 😳
It's a strange world.

Regards,

Clive

I don’t think the OPC’s react like most franchises do with follow ups, who consistently seem to make contact with previous customers, no matter how many cars they purchase from them. Our family has had 14 Porsches in the past 20 years from 5 different Porsche dealerships and rarely do we receive any calls from them suggesting a change of car. It always seems that its the customer who does the chasing. 🫢

This seems really odd behaviour to me, from Porsche salespeople, especially given the seemingly low levels of new cars they’re selling. There are lots of new Porsches at OPCs being offered with sizeable discounts on list price. In addition, buyers are getting £5k or more discounts on new car orders. What are these salespeople doing all day, apart from making 30-second videos for social media?!
Am so glad I’m not a Sales Exec relying on bonus/commission to make ends meet.

Cheers,

Simon
