its a bit shiny but coated it in coach leather wax to bring it back to life - will clean the excess off later

nans funeral tomorrow then Wednesday I shall start on engine - cranks over fine but no tacho bounce so suspect crank / ref sensor fault.

Jabriel - plenty of elbow grease, washing up liquid and warm water, Vaseline plastered on and left to soak in, dry, coach leather wax, buff and remove and repeat again.

okay stripped and refurbed injectors today, renewed spark plugs, stripped distributor and cleaned, checked dme, fuel pump and crank sensors, filled it with petrol and

sweet as a nut, coolant pre pump working as should be, fans kicking in at temperature, head only slightly tappety but disappeared after 30 mins running.

pump and belts ordered

on the ramp, removed wheels, MO30 calipers and discs ready to renew tomorrow

very pleased

booked it in with painter for June.
