Nearly a new Taycan owner!

I was due to take delivery on Thursday morning, but had a call on Wednesday night to say that Porsche had announced a stop-sale on certain cars. As always, my OPC were great and have loaned me a car in the interim (Taycan Turbo S), but at this stage they have zero information from Porsche AG about the nature of the issue and likely timescales for it to be resolved.

At least when I visited the dealership I got the chance to see my car!

At least you're hooning around in a Turbo S! Spectacularly quick things.

Finally picked up my car a couple of days ago - very pleased so far.

A couple of weeks ago I had to swap the Taycan Turbo S for a Panamera 4 hybrid, as they were trying to sell the Taycan, but that was not really a hardship, and the Panamera hybrid was an impressive car, albeit a bit heavy!

I’ve not had to do much mileage in the GTS to date, but initial impressions are that the overtaking pace is not dissimilar to that it the Turbo S, but I’m sure that there is a noticeable difference on the clock.

Hope you enjoy it. I loved my previous Taycan GTS (a Gentian blue saloon). Be interested to see what you think of any noticeable chassis differences from the Turbo S. I did 8k miles in my GTS and have almost done that in my Turbo S & I've noticed the GTS was slightly firmer and it must have been slightly lower as it bottomed out in places my Turbo S doesn't. I also 'think' I could take corners with more pace in the GTS too.

If you have the GTS interior I think that was by far my favourite. Lovely car! Enjoy.


 
100% agree. I had one of the 2wd Taycans for a day from Porsche when mine was in for something. Even that felt bloody quick!
