My Porsche 964 C2 diary

Hi Stephen, did you try an adaptation on your 964 for the cold stalling?

My car has run wonderfully since.

So not much happening with my car again, got out to another meet at Brooklands and I finally got the cup pipe back on it. Sounds like a 964 should now.

I've now seen that Top Gear are due to air a drag race which my car was supposed to be in but annoyingly, it was at the time of it being broken :(

However, after all of this, it looks like I may be parting ways with this now :(

The car is too nice and original to really do what I would like to it and because it is so clean, I am afraid to use it like I would want to. So after months and months of debating with myself, a very good offer twisted my arm and I think it is only right to let someone else enjoy a great car. I feel gutted, I really do, especially after all of the work I have put into the car but I think it is for the best and I can start my hunt and be ready to buy the right car once I find "the one".

I hope to not be out of a 964 for long, I love them and know them inside and out and to be without an air-cooled car is like the family pet going missing :ROFLMAO:. I am looking for another, however, it will be a manual this time, C2, something which is clean (NO rust) but not perfect, silver or white with blue or black interior, under 100k miles, rebuilt.

If anyone wants to put their 964 in my garage, feel free :)

Not yet I lent the hammer to someone else for a few weeks and car was starting fine when it came back. I need to sort out the starting per the other thread as the engine not turning over is getting worse and need to look at my parasitic drain too....
