Car looks great Andy, love the deep dish tele's and colour. Have to say it looks good pretty unmolested with orange indicators and standard mirrors, etc. Hope you enjoy it over the coming years. Edd

Nice one Andy, glad you got one mate worth the wait I'am sure Give the handbrake plug a wiggle, mine comes and goes - a wiggle sorts it!

There is a post the rises with the hadnbrake. Mine gets stuck in the guide so if I poke it it pops up (ooo er) and then it works for a while before it gets stuck again. Haven't had time or the inclination to sort it properly.

Well it's arrived, at last I have some boost in my life! Picked her up after work and have to say so far loving it and well impressed with how solid and straight the car is

Hardly any rattles or squeaks, everything works so far except the handbrake warning light, even the clock and aircon work although I'm sure the system will need some gas in it![;)]

Tyres are the wrong size I think, as 225/50's all round, should be 205/55's at the front? Can't see it matters much and the ride is lovely, smooth yet firm!

I just need to drive and enjoy her for now

Happy days [:)]

Very nice looking car there Andy [:)] Welcome indeed to the madness of booooost, those early Turbos are lovely cars !

Thanks for the comments and tips guys. Went for another quick blast in the dark - well you have to check all the lights do their job don't you [:D] Still grinning well, the boost is great but I'm surprised at how progressive it is, I was expecting more lag!

Great looking car Andy, trust every button pushed and knob tweaked by now[:)] Are the rims the same size front and rear? If so same tyres should be used, but I thought all the Turbos had larger rears.... Enjoy - Silverstone this weekend?

..wow that looks lovely - I really like that colour combo, especially that interior colour, and also those teledials ...

Original sizes were 7" and 8" with 205/55/16 front and 225/50/16 rear, but the staggered fitment is cosmetic and, especially where rear/mid engined cars wheels are fitted, leaving them massively over-tyred at the back, it doesnt help the vehicles handling characteristics at all.

Hi Simon Yes thats what I thought (and as I have Turbo wheels on the 2.7, what I have) but I wondered if someone has swapped things around, maybe 8" on the front or something, although as it looks so original I would have been suprised.
