My new turbo

Thanks for the comments and tips guys.

Went for another quick blast in the dark - well you have to check all the lights do their job don't you [:D]

Still grinning well, the boost is great but I'm surprised at how progressive it is, I was expecting more lag!

Great looking car Andy, trust every button pushed and knob tweaked by now[:)]

Are the rims the same size front and rear? If so same tyres should be used, but I thought all the Turbos had larger rears....

Enjoy - Silverstone this weekend?

..wow that looks lovely - I really like that colour combo, especially that interior colour, and also those teledials ...

Original sizes were 7" and 8" with 205/55/16 front and 225/50/16 rear, but the staggered fitment is cosmetic and, especially where rear/mid engined cars wheels are fitted, leaving them massively over-tyred at the back, it doesnt help the vehicles handling characteristics at all.

Hi Simon
Yes thats what I thought (and as I have Turbo wheels on the 2.7, what I have) but I wondered if someone has swapped things around, maybe 8" on the front or something, although as it looks so original I would have been suprised.

Yes Mike, everything is checked and twiddled! No S-Stone, no time this weekend unfortunately.

I'll keep it cosmetically standard - the sills will be turning body colour before too long and if I was ever to change anything it would be to add a set of Cup 1's, but I do love teledials [8D] Will get them off at some point to check offset etc, I think they are the correct ones, just the wrong tyres at the front but it rides very well so no issues there.

I will be trying hard to resist the tuning route, don't want to get carried away now [;)]

I would leave the teledials on Andy, they look like the early deep dish to me which are the best looking wheels for a 944 that you can have imho.
