My left drive shaft came apart a couple of weeks ago and I had it quickly fixed to last until next week when it was going in for a much needed health check but it happened again last friday!!

I was just wondering whether anyone has had this happen and what was the cause please? Obviously a lot/no movement somewhere underneath causing it to force the screws out.

Any ideas please?

Not sure off the top of my head what it is but make sure they are tightened to the correct torque also.

I have had new bolts and drive shaft - ouch and we are going to check it every week. We wondered if it was because the engine mounting supports were going? As the car does jiggle about before it warms up. Gosh my cats just recovered from near death and now the car seems to be heading that way :(
Thanks for any replies I have received.
