Tried that. But the answers given seem to indicate all may not be OK. Time to go to nearest OPC I think to see what theirs sound like.ORIGINAL: chrisH Worth checking all the face vents to make sure they are all fully open as any closed vents will force all the air through a smaller number of vents and the higher speed air could make a whistling sound.
I'd be surprised if there is anything wrong. Did you find any of the vents shut? When the car is first started the climate has a lot to do to bring the cabin to a comfortable setting and will go to a high fan speed, hence a lot of noise until it settles down, but then that is true on all cars.ORIGINAL: uknickTried that. All vents are open, or at least the dials/knobs are in the open position. The noise is not the start up high speed fan, it is after the system has settled down.ORIGINAL: chrisHI'd be surprised if there is anything wrong. Did you find any of the vents shut?
