Tryt Central Eberhausen Hotel in Dinslaken booked for Tuesday Night,, nothing booked at Nurburgring yet and waiting for ferry details from Mr Ruddy, what are peoples preferences fro travelling back to the ferry port as a 400 mile hike is on the cards, i would prefer to stop somewhere on the way up after the museum on the Friday say a 150 miles trip which would give us all of the next day Saturday to get up to the ferry.

GET BOOKING PEOPLE, leave details here so we can get a feel for numbers.

Frenchy, I got the ferry price from DFDS website, 3 cars, 3 people, 2 x 2 berth cabins, total price split 3 ways.

My 944 is in even more bits this morning ......

That's me booked into the Stuttgart IBIS for the Thursday night [:)]

Just need the hotels for Wednesday and Friday sorted now

How about this for the Wednesday night?

If we are going to split the journey back from Stuttgart to Amsterdam where do we want to stop on the Friday night?

Cologne / Bonn area is about half way but probably too built up so would be good if anyone knows somewhere nearby that is a nice village area?

Spoke to Martin and Frenchy today, I'm booked and confirmed in

Tuesday - Tryp Centro, Oberhausen
Wednesday - Gastehaus Fuchsrohre (so is Martin)
Thursday - IBIS, Stuttgart City (so is Martin)
Friday - happy to wing it

Cheers, Paul

Stuttgart to Boppard on Rhine is 166 miles, i have been before and it is lovely, is that too far after the museum ?

No that seems fine, especially if the area is nice [:)]

All we need now is a hotel in Boppard, there are a few around £60-£80

Looks like its only a couple of minutes from Boppard on the map

May I make a suggestion, if its cheaper to book the ferry in block bookings, I don't mind putting it on my card if everyone transfers there individual costs to me ?

Cheers Paul

Look into it Paul, but hang back to see who else is coming from our end Mike M has not come back with a definite yet, spoke to him earlier.
