MOT and MINOR SERVICE in March - the month silly!

Ted 996 is due for an MOT in March and currently sitting on 56k miles, so could sensibly have a minor service at the same time. I'm just outside Bury St Edmunds and on paper at least have a number of options:

>OPC Cambridge or Colchester,
>back to Peter Tognola who undertook a PPI and some associated work for me when I bought him from a Berkshire-based owner (I have family about 40 minutes drive away so could kill two birds with one stone),
>make friends with an East Anglia independent,
>the local garage who have been our "go to" since the 1980's.

What do you think guys?

Well if you're telling me you'd troll down to Coggeshall from Fair Felixstowe I'm impressed.

Tis only 20 minutes, dear boy. May be a bit longer in yours, but the boys are worth it

JC,

Obliged to you for this. May well phone them tomorrow. It has occurred to me that unless I go OPC I'm unlikely to find an independent with on-site MOT testing in which case I cover my options by relying on my local "go-to" for the MOT after an indie minor service.

I'd be interested if you have direct experience of others in East Anglia which you'd be prepared to PM me with please?

And today was that very day. Nice people, nice dog, nice place, nice to have a courtesy car to offer which meant that she and I were able to explore parts of Essex previously unknown to us. And mostly in the sunshine too!

Happy experience, will be going back there in the future and very happy to recommend. Sailor thanks for the head's up.
