Join us for a lovely drive and day out to the thriving metropolis of Morecambe and enjoy the Vintage by the Sea event.
We aim to meet at Keelham Farm Shop, 21 Gargrave Rd, Skipton. BD23 1UD where we have a table booked for breakfast at 8.45. We then make our way to the resort where we will be directed to dedicated parking on the promenade. A packed lunch may be handy or perhaps enjoy a meal at the Art Deco Midland Hotel although it will be busy during the event.
The run is in aid of Cancer Support Yorkshire and there is a charge of £7.50 per car. The run organiser has cheekily mentioned a small donation to make it up to £10 but that is at your discretion.
Please register your interest on this forum and forward a cheque to me, Chris Chappell, payable to Gerry Watson Bradford to Morecambe run, together with your name, phone number, vehicle model and registration.
A 9” x 6” SAE is also ESSENTIAL for you to receive a programme for the event which serves as your entry onto the promenade for parking.
Please forward your cheque, SAE and details to Mr C Chappell, 56, Latham Lane, Gomersal, Cleckheaton, BD19 4AP.
Closing date for entries is 28 June to allow for printing of programmes and postage etc before the event.
Hope to see you there,

Chris

Nice one Chris, sadly we won't be going as we are still in limbo for a vaguely possible European trip.

I would like to participate in this event please.
I hope to do it in my 1990 944 S2
H762 RWW
I will forward the details with my cheque as requested.

I’ve just realised that this event clashes with the Brands Hatch Festival of Porsche which I’ve bought tickets for therefore regrettably I will not be participating in the Bradford to Morecambe Run.

Hi, I’d be interested,
although I don’t own a cheque book.
Is there any other way to make payment?
thanks
Rik

Hi Rik,
Let me have the necessary details and I will send you a cheque off and a SAE. You just pay me on the day.
So I need details as asked for on the original post above and your name and address so I can do you an SAE.
Need it quick as I am sending forms off very shortly!!

Cheers,
Chris

Quick update. As you will be aware entries are now closed for this event. All entrants have been booked in. I will post final details about a week before the event.

Chris

Sadly this event is now cancelled, self addressed envelope arrived today informing me that Lancaster Council have withdrawn the parking area, so it has to be cancelled.
