Mesh Grilles fitted

With the help of a friend I fitted mesh grilles to my 996 C2 front bumper on Friday.
It took us about 3 hours, but I felt it was well worth it for the radiator protection it now provides.
It gave me the chance to clean out some leaves that were already stuck there too.

We used the 3 brilliant DIY documents provided by Richard Hamilton and Min Chew in the 996 Technical Articles section:

I had to source the mesh from ebay, as Halfords won't deliver to the IOM for a reasonable price and I used plasterboard screws which have a nice sized head.

Really pleased with the result:

That looks really good Steve. Would anyone like to do the same for the Gen 2 turbo given that I have already had a rock through the a/c after just 6 weeks?![:(] Or could anyone e-mail me names of companies who might be interested in designing/fitting? I know there have been lots of previous posts but can't seem to find any by search.

Thanks Steve. It is different to the GT3 front end. I'll have a ring around unless you want to have a go when we're over on the IOM next month!!![;)]
