Mathewsons Live (SEE HERE) is more than just another average car show, I’m told it’ll be a weekend celebration of motorsport, music, food and community, held over two, full action-packed days, where visitors get to feel the buzz of live rally stages, explore over 500 classic cars, trucks and motorbikes, enjoy live music and sample some of Yorkshire’s finest food and drink.

The action, entertainment and exhibits run across both days, but please note, I have only registered for Sunday the 23rd August, so spaces are limited, hence this post is only to initially gauge the appetite, to attend this event and put on a small R3 stand.

We’ve only been allocated a maximum of ten spaces, so please only express an interest, if you are absolutely 100% sure you’re free not just to commit to the date, but able to stay all day. Because, let’s face it, suddenly realising you’ve overstretched or miraculously suddenly have too much on the day before, is wholly unfair and extremely frustrating, not just for us but for everyone involved in putting on any event.

As a bonus, those agreeing to show can enjoy a discounted entry ticket of only £10 per vehicle, including driver and 1 passenger, but both must be present at point of entry, no excuses. Although currently, I’m still waiting for our booking link that verifies and confirms this.

To clarify, adding to this thread “does not” automatically qualify you for a space, also as this is advertised as a classic show, on this occasion vehicles that enhance our display or make it a little more varied or interesting may be given preference.

Finally, as discussed at Club night, since Deb and I have offered to manage this in the absence of David Chapman, (who can’t make this one) We have the final say. However, there is absolutely nothing stopping anyone booking tickets directly through the Mathewson website and parking with the masses.
