Master Cylinder 1971 T

Going through the braking system (prior to MOT) on my recently imported 1971 911 T i've found the master cylinder is leaking quite badly .
Should i seek an identical replacement or is there an "upgrade" worth doing while i'm in there ?
Any good sources , preferably in the Midlands ?
