March Meeting...Ninemeister!

If you've never been to 9M before, the best tip I can give is that when you turn off the road that takes you to Warrington bank quay railway station, head for Speed Karting. On reaching Speed Karting, drive across their car park and turn down the back of the building and carry on all the way round the building [;)]

What date is that should a new 944t owner want to attend?![:D]

It's March 12th and of course you should [:)]. 9M might be known best for air cooled 911s but they look after and upgrade plenty of front engined porkers aswell.

Well worth a visit. Bring wallet, leave spouse / partner / significant other at home. [:D]

From memory, there are some seriously high speed-bumps on the way into the place and my car has been lowered quite a bit....?[8D] Beached whale springs to mind[:D]

Indeed there are Nick - my lowered CS gets over them if I'm patient, and thats with a front splitter. You could take it easy over the bumps at the tunnel approach then park up outside the Karting circuit.

Thanks Frazer, I'll just lay off the fatty foods betwen now and then with the added benefit of improving the power to weight ratio...[:D]

Oh and refreshments from 7pm, official start at 8pm (see Porsche Post) - thanks Barrie.

Roddy [;)]

Hope to be there for 7pm, i may set off earlier and find a pub thats nearby for some good food/tea on route.

I've only recently joined and might try and make this if I can - what goes on at these meetings?

If I can shake off this flu I have I'll be there. If not I'll come to another one.

Cheers

Dan

Just to manage expectations, unfortunately I'm now away in the South and will be unable to amke this. Hope to meet you all at the next meet.

My guess is that about 60 of us turned up last night and were treated to a very informative evening about all things 911 by Colin and Marc of 9M. And a very big thankyou to Mrs Marc Clowes for keeping us fed and watered through out the evening. Here's a few snaps which cannot attempt to do their business justice [:)]

Marc Clowes' Tommy Cooper impersonation left R5 speechless

A big thanks to Colin, Marc, Hayley and everyone else at 9M for a great evening.
