Malton Big Breakfast - Easter Sunday

Will be going on Sunday but coming from Scarborough so will see you there - depends on weather if using Porsche.

Rita & John

John, I've (and others) been put off by the crush. Or maybe I don't get up early enough!

The weather sounds ok, that is, if you don't mind the wind from Russia - but then you're a young chap.

Paul

Would have done John but we have got a nice cosy hotel in the lakes to go to instead.[&o]

Will look forward to Whitby instead.

Chris

I am planning on going and being a bit earlier this year, but if it is knee deep in snow I shall stay in bed.

Looks like only me and Dan are the last remaining tough Yorkshiremen!

Paul, I'm not that young but thanks for the compliment (I'll be wearing my Damart longjohns!!)
Dan will try a pair of his mum's tights under his jeans (the least said about that, the better!!)

Lisa and I are still undecided. We'll wait for Saturday and decide after seeing the forecast.

Soft Yorkshireman. Aka Mike

Thinking will do it if snow stays away or no more than a couple of inches.
It seems to be calming down our side of the Pennines.
Could make York for 9 ish ,let me know where? will mostlikley be on on A59 from Knaresborough side.

Me too, never again!!!!

...and me.

I know John Hawkins does this with the best of intentions and good on him for doing it. However, the prospect of Easter Sunday traffic on the A64, freezing weather and little to do but queue for a bacon sandwich doesn't appeal, I'm afraid.

Have a good time guys packing for a few days in a warmer climate. See you all on Whitby run.

L & S

I got there what I thought was nice and early, but the place was packed before 9.00am and queues for bacon butties. It was really good to chat to R7 members and poke my nose into some the cars in the workshops including a 959.

The max power element does seem to have largely taken over but it still does a sterling job of raising funds, still there was the odd gem in amongst the cars. When the sun shone it was almost warm, just need to get the salt off the roads.

Hi Guys
If you left early you missed this one (poor sod)
