Macan saver spare

Hi Guys,

Just a quick suggestion for those of you who have a Vredestein Master saver tyre in the back. Get it out and test inflate it. I unfortunately had a puncture in my rear tyre on my Macan and had to try and install the my space saver. Luckily for me I have Porsche Assist, it took the AA guy 45 minutes to eventually inflate it, it kept going so far then folding over on one side of the rim. If I had not had the cover then I would have been stuck with a useless brand new never used saver tyre. Don't wait until you have a puncture, check it now.

Is this the collapsible spare tyre? Thats what I have under the false floor in the boot.

Is this the collapsible spare tyre? That's what I have under the false floor in the boot.

Yes James it is and Porsche do not cover it it under warranty.
 
Hi

Is the collapsible spare wheel something you can purchase and does it fit if you have the Bose subwoofer installed as part of the Bose system?
Never liked the idea of foam to inflate the tyre.
