MACAN S HEADLIGHTS

I have 2019 Macan S Gen II with standard LED Headlights but no information in handbook regarding any requirements for driving abroad on right side of road. Previous Macan (Xenons) had adjustments via the PCM. Do they automatically adjust or are stick on reflectors needed?
 
I suspect its the same as my 2019 Cayenne. They adjust automatically when the car registers its abroad. Thats what the salesman told me when I left the showroom !
 
LED's have a centralised beam pattern and require no change for european driving.

I have a 2nd Generation Macan GTS with LEDs. I am going to France but the in car computer has an option to change the lights for continental driving. Any ideas what this is for as following the thread the lights change automatically?

If your headlights do not adjust automatically, the PCM offers you a way to set them up for driving on RHS roads. Here is the relevant section in the driver's manual:-

Activating overseas mode

When you cross the border into a country where traffic drives on the other side of the road, the light distribution of the headlights must be adapted. The dipped beam then lights symmetrically and drivers of oncoming vehicles are not dazzled. Adaptation of the light distribution normally occurs automatically based on the navigation data. After conversion, a message appears in the instrument cluster every time the ignition is switched on. If conversion does not take place automatically:

  • CAR >CONTROL >Vehicle settings > Light and visibility > Exterior light > Inverted
  • Readjust headlights on the return journey
