Luggage covers with the Porsche crest

Any ideas where luggage covers with the Porsche crest on them (as shown below) can be obtained from? Or is this a home made job? If so, where can you get these crests (which you presumably just stick on)?

The badge makes the luggage cover look very smart. I don't think I'll ever use my plain one but if I had one of these it would be unrolled & proudly on display all the time - regardless of there actually being anything to cover in the boot!

Let me guess though - these are probably some hideously expensive & impossible to find optional extra from back in the day.

Thanks in advance for your wisdom forumites.

Never seen one but they are easy enough to take apart and replace the fabric so a screen print or machine embroidered piece could be used. Must say its a bit OTT for me though.

Im looking to remove emblems, not add them! It is only a 944 for heavens sake and lots of 'look at my Porsche' tat only cheapens it.

Agree with the above, a bit too much for my taste, looks like your trying to make a point a little too hard.

It might not be my taste, but to each their own. As long as noone asks where they can get a massive snake decal for their 944 I'm happy!

Looks like it's probably a home-made jobby to me.

Never seen or heard of one before so I suspect it's a "one-off". Lots of people here have non-standard bits on their cars; I'll confess to a non-standard steering wheel even though I have the real one somewhere. If you like it, go make yourself one [:D]

Can you supply green vinyl seat too? [:D]

I love the cars, and whilst Im not particularly happy with the way that my post comes across / could be taken, I support the sentiment wholeheartedly.

Anyone know where i can get a leopard skin steering wheel cover for my club sport steering wheel along with a pink fluffy dice ? Rodney !!! [;)]

Poor Mark, guy just signed up and we're slating his taste in Porsche livery already and I'm guilty too. Some say that they buy our cars despite or with indifference to the badge. Personally I love it, Porsche has such great history on track and road, it certainly adds to the experience that we are driving something a bit more special over most daily drives, even if our cars are largely under valued. Porsche generally speaking seems to do a pretty good job of putting their mark all over the car. Mine has a badge or the words Porsche splashed all over, rear spoiler, rear bumper, rear seats (Script), front seats, door cards (Script), door shuts, steering wheel, badge panel (obviously), wheels. And I'm sure there are more. Earlier models had porsche script on the door handles, clove box, and sills too.

Then there are the dust caps, umbrella the pen in glovebox, and I maybe wearing a cap, jacket and have my iPad [:D][:D]
Love the Crest!

Anymore?

Let him without bling cast the first brick-bat. Does anyone who has posted negatively on here have a standard, unmodified car?

Glenn this is not an issue of modified v unmodified, it is a question of taste.

No... it's a matter of some people believing THEIR taste in modifications is OK and someone else's isn't. Taste is subjective. If someone wants to put a blind with a Porsche crest on it in their car it is entirely their business. The original poster obviously liked it and he didn't ask for anyone's style critique, or their ridicule for his taste, merely where he could get it from. I sincerely hope that he hasn't been driven away from the forum by some of these responses.
