Very sorry to read this tale. Certainly brings back sharp memories! Glad your 'ok' I've not seen the pictures but from what you describe you're probably lucky it was a Porsche. Tough little cars even though they don't have the safety features. Many other cars don't hold up so well in high speed impacts.

Again very sorry. Hope it doesn't put you off driving. I know after my 'big one' all I wanted to drive for a while was a big Audi barge with soft seats and crumple zones.
 
All the best for a speedy recovery, sorry to hear about the car but ! they can be replaced. Just think of the fun you have to come looking for that new car!
