Hi - I live in Lichfield and am looking for a reputable local independent specialist please (911 S Convertible - 997 Gen2). Recent service at main dealer highlighted a number of things that need looking at.
Thanks
Giles

I & a number of friends local to you who own Porsches use RJB Repairs a small garage
/MOT station near the Belfry Wishaw Lane off the Lichfield Rd A446. They looked after my 996 for over a decade, & I will be taking my recently acquired Cayman to them as well for routine maintenance. Russ is the boss, but Scott his mechanic is an ex OPC Master Technician. It’s an ’under the radar’ place that does not advertise etc but excellent service & reasonable prices. Happy for you to tell them I referred you when you call.

Another vote for Zuffenhaus from me…… honest and reasonably priced, just don’t expect the same glamorous premises as an OPC !

A bit late to this, but in case it's still useful I'd also recommend Zuffenhaus (I live in Sutton Coldfield). I had some major work done on my 997 Turbo and they did an excellent job. Premises not shiny like an OPC but they are a recognised Porsche Specialist and that will keep your Service History looking good, both for you and prospective future buyers of your car.

If you are having any issues with alignment and geometry then I highly recommend Center Gravity in Atherstone. Useful data on RJB, have also heard good things about Zuffenhaus.
