I love doing shows with my boxster, i like to open both the front and rear boots then wonder a little way off and wait. it' s not usally to long before someone comes along peers in the front,walks round the car peers in the back,scratches their head and walks round to the front again. looking more than a little puzzled.

oh no someones knicked my engine!!

Had exactly this last year when on holiday in Italy - another one of my jaunts with the Boxster (previous one). I had Stuffa bags in the front and back boots. Opened both up and took out the luggage. Walked to the room. Came back for more stuff. A German guy was peering around the car - " Vere is der engine?" he asked. I explained and he was most surprised.

Considering it was a german car being asked about by a German, this was probably the more surprising !
 
It is even better at Sainsbury' s ... you get a fair bit of attention when you flip both lids. Always use the front for stashing the baguettes, they fit snuggly. If you pack a few bits into each carrier then you seem to be able to stash more in the boot .... sad eh.
 
I do that too except i like to fill one of the big trollies return to the car,open front boot and load untill full,then close front and look at still about half full trolly..oh dear!!
slowley stroll round to the back of the car,look at trolly again,pop boot and empty contents of trolly into boot close lid say, phew!! lock boot and return trolly to bay.

Hi mike,
it was suggested that a forum badge was made so we would be able to spot another forum user at PCGB meetings.
anyway after much debate i have ordered a small (about an inch and a quarter)badge showing the PCGB forum logo(like seen on the web site home page)it has been decided that included in the cost of your badge should be a donation that we the forum users can give to the PCGB chosen charity the spinal injuries association. hopefully showing the board (by the succesful sale of these badges)that this forum is well used and we are a thoughtful lot worthy of having a forum to play in.

I should have the badges in approx 2 weeks time. i have asked if it is also possable for club shop to sell them on our behalf..but so far haven' t had a reply.

just in case anyone is worried i am not making any money out of this. infact i shall have to cover costs of any unsold badges.
so far sales look good and i shall be posting the badges off to you early birds as soon as they are available.
again thank you all for your support.
