Little orphan annie

Graham, little Ruby is all go now! I went clutching my little handful of paperwork and got some new no. plates and a registration sticker. Drove it to a mates' secure lockup until I made room at my place for the car. Since then I have now applied and received my personalised plate 356356 which should be on the car in 5 days of receiving them. The interior needs a good clean as is has got a bit grubby during all of the inspection process. Will pick up next week and take it for a jolly good jaunt. I've no worries about where it is stored as it is amongst a '58 A, a '59 4cam A and a '61 B Roadster.

Hi Tony, sorry for delayed reply, just back from the LA Lit meet, great to hear you are motoring again and I love that plate. Like New York, so good they named it twice! It seems that the weather here has now turned from stark Winter with freezing temperatures, snow and ice to an almost pleasant feeling that Spring is nearly with us and we will be able to get the various machines out of hibernation and, like you, go for a few jolly good jaunts. That is indeed a terribly British saying which smacks of Downton Abbey, 30's England and cricket on the green. The first jaunt I have listed to attend will be the Goodwood members meeting on the 17th of this month and I shall go in the 997. Then I shall be out on my old Harley for a bike show on the 25th, then in the 356 for the Surrey street rodders 'Wheels Day' on Easter Friday. I'll be getting a few miles in on the pushbike midweek just to try and get a semblance of fitness back. It's a hard life.
