Yes Dave, there is a 911 & Porsche World picnic, but, R29 are not explicitly supporting it this year.

Received this e mail yesterday - Autojumble and meet.

-------------------------

Following the success of this year's long-running Porsche Autojumble at The White Horse pub, Husborne Crawley, the organiser, Gerry Gibbins in conjunction with Porscheshop and 911&Porsche World have returned the event to its twice yearly status.

The second Grand National Autojumble of the year will take place on Sunday 26th September at a new venue "" Windsor Racecourse. The event joins 911&Porsche World's already established annual Porsche Picnic, which itself has moved from its previous venue (Wellington Country Park) for the past five years. Joining the Autojumble and Porsche Picnic are enthusiasts from 911&Porsche World's sister titles "" Classic Porsche, Ultra VW, Auto Italia and Japanese Performance.

A fabulous open-air venue with Windsor Castle and the River Thames on its doorstep, this assortment of cars at the course will create a relaxed and easy-going environment, taking you away from the hustle and bustle of race circuits or the confines of an indoor show. The event also includes 'Best of Show' awards from Meguiar's.

So, come along and rub shoulders with the magazine's editorial team, car clubs and readers alike and enjoy picking up a bargain at the Autojumble! I would appreciate if you could spread the word to your regions and registers and encourage your members to join in!

Is anyone going to "Wings and Wheels" next weekend? I was planning to go to the Hampshire Pageant of Motoring in my 914S, but it's been cancelled.
