Lightweight battery,s.

Hi Dave

Battery looks great, but 16Ah on a freezing morning!

Mine car is light enough!

Looks like a PowerVamp 25 to me. I have the powervamp and it worked fine in my S2 before we stripped it, saves a good 12Kg over the standard battery but you will need a bracket to fit it in the car. For me its great as I understand you don't need a battery box if using a sealed unspillable as it says on that one, battery.

Can also get different terminals so the standard battery cable bolts straight on.
 
I have had Odyssey 680 16aH batteries on a high compression John Eales spec Rover V8 in my G27 and in my 2.0 VX XE redtop engined Westy.

They will start them easily BUT make sure your circuits and starter/earth/wiring is good as you only get a few chances. Started them both up from cold in cold weather after long layoffs no problems.
