LHD Windscreen conversion

I find that the wipers leave a dribble of water on the screen because the top one is shorter.
I've changed the blade umpteen times and it makes no difference.
I believe that the wipers can be adjusted/adapted to park on the LHD side.
Does this solve the problem?
Has anyone done it?
Is it a complicated procedure?
 
The wipers in RHD are set on the opposite side to LHD 993s, so LHD cars have the same issue. There is a good reason for this arrangement, the wipers prevent water running up the screen into the drivers view.

However, you can easily get the wipers to park on the other side by pulling a relay (no 42?) from the board. This allows you to park the wipers wherever you want on the screen when you switch off the wipers. The drawback is that you lose intermittent wipe.

I wouldn't recommend permanently changing over the position in this country considering the amount of rain we get here.

Might try pulling the relay first - looks easier to undo if I get dribbles.

If the wipers don't park in front of the driver they'll push water down in front of the driver and when the wipers move away that water will slide up the screen from the airflow as the car's moving. No big deal while the wipers are on constantly but if on intermittent or occasional wipe I think it will get annoying.[FONT=verdana,geneva"]
