I'm going.Booked with Lycean events on the Porsche curves. A few going from Scotland,we are on the Hull ferry on the Thursday night.Thread on R20 section of the forum.

Pete, May well be going, been to the last 3 classics, we had 22 souls at the last one all parked and set up together, lots of Pork and a couple of GT40 reps that did the full circuit on Friday night.....awesome. Ed Copperman was with us, something in the post for you BTW, should cover a couple of Yamasaki Lagers [;)] May be on a budget so may be coming in the little BMW E46 complete with Schnitzer Type 3 wheels [:D] There again i wll probably end up down there in a 944. Would be good to meet up, we normally do an overnight in France on the way down if it is a goer we could meet up for the ferry over.............................call me.

Hi Jim', thanks for the yakabushi lagers mate [:D]. Much appreciated. I'm getting the Newhaven ferry on the Thorsday morning, early. Going with Lycian events and meeting up with the R20 bunch [8D]. This should be a great trip. We'll defo' have to meet up Jim' and, what better place to do so?[8D][:D]. My local region R23 are doing nothing as usual.

A group from region 19 will be metaphorically booing and gesticulating from Travel Destinations site at Terte Rouge. we will probably go to Folkestone Thursday for an overnight to catch something like a 7:30 or 8:00 eurostar. Stopping at Bai de Somme services for vital fluids.

I am assuming that this is for the Classic as Travel Destinations don't have a site on Terte Rouge for the 24 Hours.

Quite right Stephen I thought that's what we were talking about. I am not organising this either. I am just tagging along. For the pay as you go member I believe that the site run by Lycian events represents great value for money if you don't want to shop and cook.

The Site is just as good for the Classic and we will have the same high standard of catering and buses to run you round the circuit. What is there not to like? Stephen @ Joy

Hi, Iv'e let this one slip a little bit [8|]. For the record, it's the Le Mans 24hr race that i'm on about. NOT THE CLASSIC. It's Porsche's first year back in LMP1 going up against the might of Audi and Totota [8D]. It's going to be the Mutz Nutz [;)][:D]!! Who else from the 944 forum fancies sacking the "Enemy" (the missus) for a few days Lager fuelled Petrol Hedonism?[8D][:D]? What about you Mr Mitchell? Ewan Clarke, T3rra, Andy Watson, Mc Nutters?? etc, etc?? Come on lets DO IT!! Lets get a big gang to rival R20 on Porsche Curves [8D][:D]. I'll do all the organising if you like. You're a long time dead.....LET'S PARTY!!! (Bet you never thought you'd hear those words coming from R23 [;)], What a rousing speech.....Better than Adolf Hitler !!)

Pete, Classic for me though the thought of Porsche coming back to LM1 whets the appetite !!

Jon', I knew you'd come mate, I have already counted you in.[:D] Anymore of you're gang fancy it?[;)]. If we went in my T4, we could sleep in that plus, we can pitch my drive away awning for extra space[8D]. Sleeps six!! [:D][8D]
