Latest Charger/Conditioner Advice

I just got a 996 a couple of weeks ago. With winter approaching, i want to still use it occasionally but also will be keeping it garaged during the worst of the weather here in Northern Ireland. Reading around at the recommendations for battery chargers/conditioners it seems the CTEK XS 3600 is the non-Porsche branded popular model but its a few years old and not very available. Whats the latest version recommended for 996's?

 
I bought the Ctek MXS 5.0 after our older Ctek (can't remember the model now) wasn't quite powerful enough (it was bought for our Carrera 3.2 some years before).
 
I use the AA branded one - got it from Amazon I think. Again, not super expensive but does the job. Comes with crocodile clips as well as a set of leads that can be attached directly to the battery and left in situ.
