Lake District run 14th May 2006

The Lake District run which was very popular last year will be on Sunday 14th May, Meet up at Forton services at 10 for 10:15.
A run up past Windermere and up through Kirkstone Pass.
Lunch(choice of restaurant or pub lunch) at the Inn On The Lake on Ullswater, this is a fantastic location right on the lakeside.
A run up to the A6 and down through Shap and on towards Kendal.
Over through Windermere and Bowness.
Possibly a run up to Rydal Mount(Wordsworth's home) for a glass of wine and hot Gingerbread [] (to be confirmed).
The day will end around 5:30pm.

The clutch hasn't arrived in time for the 911 and I can't get the 924S fitted in in time to get the PAS pump fitted (Douglas Valley have one) in time unless anyone has any suggestion we'll have to miss this one [] If you know anyone who can fit a 924S PAS pump at short notice let me know!

If this is of any use try Loe Bank Motors (Chris Sanderson) at Edensfield nr Ramsbottom.
Simon Butterworth (Porsch-Apart ) may have a pump you could pick up on the way.

It was an excellent day. Something like 18 cars in the convoy if I am correct. A great mix of good food, pleasureable driving and culture. Particular thanks to Stu for organizing.

I'd like to say a big thanks to everyone for supporting the event from the various regions and registers, it makes the effort worthwhile.
