I have organised a stand for PCGB R21 at this event for five previous years and have had good support from many of the local early car owners to show their cars on the stand in the paddock. The way the cars are selected for the stand is down to the Kop Hill organisers as they collect an entry fee for the privilege, of £15 per day which goes to their local charities. They then provide an area suitable in size for the cars that book and pay to attend. Their selection of cars is quite strict, no car made after 1973 can drive the hill and only cars made before 1997 can be included in a Clubs stand. It is after all a historic car event. They do make an area for cherished cars at the front of the public car park which is alongside the hill course but you do need to get there early. Two years ago we tied up with Porsche Centre Reading who became one of the events Gold sponsors and last year got a very prestigeous area on the Porsche Centre Reading stand, where we are located this year, come and see us there.
