Karting Challenge at the National Event

Just got this from Mandy Carle:

"If you can raise a team of four drivers at a cost of £80 per team, then please let either me or Bob Lovelace know. This can be organised for either the Sunday or Monday, so please state your preference of days together with your preferred time (see above).

Teams will have track time of approximately 1 hour. The best individual lap time will win the event for their region and presentations will be made at the end of each day.

It would be great to see a Directors Team challenging the Regions/Registers?

If you can't manage to get together a team then you will be able to arrive and drive however for a team of four this will cost £100.

regards
Mandy Carle"

If anybody would like to make up a 964RS team, or two, let me know.

I like a bit of karting, so count me in. Flexible regarding which day at the moment.

Looking forward to it!!

So do we have a team yet? No suspension or cup holders on a kart so we should feel at home ...........

Come on - the force is strong in this family!!!!!

The GT3 Nurburgring Karters might get a team of 4 together. I'll sound them out at Lemans this weekend.

FROM ANOTHER PLACE

Hi Robin

I am keen to have a go if the 964RS boys don't get a team together. No GT3 but I was there at the Nurburgring karting so I may qualify on those grounds!! Let me know if you need a "lightweight" ringer.

Feroz

So the 'No. 1 Lightweights' team is:

Des;
Matt;
Feroz;
Mel.

I'll sort out a cheque with Mandy -twenty quid each perlease. Any more? And this is a plea for more 964RS owners, not the rest....if you want a go, contact Mandy direct -(details in PP and she doesn't appear to do e-mail....)

You're too quick for me on the keyboard - we'll have to see about the kart track.

You've signed a good one as Fez was the clear winner at Nurburgring (but only because from pole we couldn't catch him to push him off). I'll have to try Sean Paul, Steve B and Nigel (as long as he promises not to stop midrace for a comfort break).

Robin

is there a minimum number per team.. say 2 or even 1 !?

sorry to ask a silly question but what track is this & where ?

I'm good for the sunday [:D]

I wish you guys would RTFM!!!!!!!!

Pls liaise direct with Mandy:

Details should then be supplied to Mandy Carle -(Surrey RO). Cheques should be sent to Mandy at 'Downs Lodge', 3 Tattenham Way, Burgh Heath, Surrey, KT20 5LX and made payable to PCGB.

regards
Mandy Carle
