Was at this sprint track to day never knew it existed was given the info by club member Donald McDonald as to an event he was marshaling at called the Flying Scotsman Rally from London -Edinburgh held over 4 days and this was one off several special stages .
It was for prewar cars ( yes my era ) [:D] some stunning cars Bently's. Aston Martins. Lagonda .Alfa . Ford .BMW . and many many more worth Millions ££ over 86 cars took part and did not hang around going round this tight circuit ,very impressed .The track is owned by East Ayrshire CC and run similar sprints for cars throughout the year . a bit like Forrestburn nr Shotts which they where also doing today then on to Gleneagles for the finish and stopover i believe .

A few more of this type of track listed here http://www.scottish-hillclimbing.co.uk/. Was at Doune yesterday and was quite impressed, these guys don't hang about!
