Just Wondering About Ages?

Hope i dont offend anyone by putting this post up asking about ages.
Not at all, I'm 43 but 17 at heart. [&o] A lot of 944 owners are around the 40-50 age because they grew up with the cars when they were new. Also the insurance drops off dramatically once you get through your 30s, which makes having a weekend toy more of a prospect.

49 here although SWMBO would swear I'm under 18... since no sensible man would ever argue with his wife it must be true......[:D][:D] Pete

44 and in my prime ( well thats what I keep telling the wife but I'm well past it) , and its always a good question as its interesting to form a mental impression of folk then to be totally shocked when you actually meet them [:D] Cheers Mas just call me dad !

Hi guys,

Looking at the other post i have put up. just noticed that there were comments saying how nice it is to see younger people on here it seemed like me Henry944 are the youngest, but i was just wondering if there are any other people around my age (18).

Hope i dont offend anyone by putting this post up asking about ages.

Hey. I'm 22. Had my 944 for a few months now and absolutely loving it! Insurance is a bi*ch though - not as bad as you but I pay £1500 :S Becky

I'm relatively young compared to others here at 36 [:D], I remember 944's as a kid and thinking what a great car it was, and it still is after 20+ years, its unbeatable for what I want out of a car right now. Edd

49 and 3/4 here - my wife is hoping I'll grow up when I hit 50! Never been an air cooled fan - always loved 928s but costs and complexity scare me! So nice basic early 944and I can do most of it myself. Mike

Oh dear.....it comes as no surprise to find that at 53, I'm one of the elder owners [:(] However you're as young as the car you drive, so that makes me 20.:ROFLMAO: My S.2 has been my only car for 5 and half years and still meets all my needs in terms of pace, style and practicality.

Oh Dear!! I'm 69 and management's nearly 61. We have three 944's between us. Our cars are older than some of you. Come to think of it my grandaughter is older than some of you........................!! Mac

I’m 33. My first 944 was a present to myself at the age of 29 … partly so that I could say I’d owned a Porsche before hitting thirty!

I picked mine up 2 weeks before my 29th birthday last month. The plan was to treat myself for my 30th but I'm impatient!

I’m well aware that I bought my first 944 for all the wrong reasons, but I bought the next two for exactly the right ones! Even after driving a bad example, I loved them so much I had to find a good one instead.
