Hi. I have had my 911 for about a year, and have really enjoyed using it and showing it during the rather wet summer season. I now need a car for more regular use, so I have added a 944 S2 Cab to the collection.

It is Alpine White with a blue hood and blue leather, and has covered 49,500 miles. I have tried to attach some photos which I hope works !!

I found the forum advice to be excellent pre purchase, and walked away from a couple as a result before finding this one. I had a good haggle and I am very pleased with the car. I had a 260 mile drive home from collecting the car which was encouragingly uneventful. Lets hope my 944 ownership remains so !!

I look forward to chipping my 2 peneth in to this form as well as the 3.2 over the coming months.

In the best colour too! That looks a really nice one. Was it a private sale? I like the plate.

Wow - looks like new! All it needs is a good set of floor mats. [;)]

I'd suggest contacting the new Display Register, as it looks like a completely un-molested example.

That looks like a very nice car.

If you get chance, I'd really like to see a photo of the back "seats" - I have Blue Porsche Logo seats in my S2 cab at the moment, but I've got some spare leather front ones like yours - I'd like to see what the rear seats look like in leather so I know what I need to get.

Enjoy the car!

Phil.

Thanks, it was a dealer who specialises in classic and sports cars at Nutley, near Gatwick. He was very helpful. I bought it on a trade basis as I lived a long way away and his warrenty etc would be of no use to me. Paid a fair price but dont really have to spend anything on it, hopefully !!

I also liked the plate, which I think finishes off the car.

Thanks. I didn't take any of the rear seats, but I will and will email them to you in the next couple of days.

Thanks. Funnily enough I do intend to contact the display register having read about them in the latest Post magazine.

I am trying to find a blue set of overmats, but without success as yet. I am having to resort to regular E Bay searches. Any suggestions gratefully received!!

Tony

I'll echo the "looks nice" comments. They always look fantastic when they're clean in white - but by clean I mean all the black bits looking spotless as well.

I'd suggest Keith Pink at Prestige Parts in Plymouth for mats. Porsche only do them in black any more and I know Keith was looking to source carpet and make them up last time I bought a set from him - which happened to be his last set of cobalt blue cabrio ones.

I echo the quality of mats from Keith at Prestige. I had set for my S2 when I first bought it 10 years ago and they are only just wearing through now after 100,000 miles on the drivers side. The pile is luxurious and thick and the fit is perfect

very nice . Must get my S2 valeted in the spring [;)]

Do you always drive in your hodnails ?[:D]

Thanks. I didn't take any of the rear seats, but I will and will email them to you in the next couple of days.
Thanks Tony. As for mats, like the others say, you'll only get Black direct from Porsche now. I had my Blue mats made by Southbound for me - they weren't cheap, in fact they were pretty expensive, but they're in the correct colour carpet and they are a perfect fit.

I'm away at the moment, but when I get home I'll try to find the receipt and let you know exactly what I paid - they were detailsed on a forum thread a few weeks ago where my sanity was almost called into doubt for the price I paid!!
