.. Of mine and Martins 944's at PCGB meeting last night , lovely evening for a run thru the Lakes but a thousand dead insects to scrape off this morning [:mad:]

Out of interest where was Martin's first registered?
VC plates were the Coventry area in 1992
 
An aside: the original rear plate will have been sufficiently large to fill the whole space between the rear lamps.

Its funny that a 'normal' sized plate used to look very wrong on a 944, whereas theyre such a rare sight now that Im not certain that they look 'right'.
 
Never seen a 944 with the plate you describe, would be interesting to see one, a word with a few OPC parts people i know may see some old stock still on the shelf ?

Evans Halshaw on Kidderminster Road, Hagley, Stourbridge, West Midlands but it's no longer there now [:(]

Your correct it is a reproduced plate in the normal smaller size.

The originals were knackered so my mate who has a sign writing company made a new set up for me [:)]
