Gliding evening, Friday June 20

Bannerdown Gliding Club provides trial lesson for all ages. You will be surprised how easy it is and if you can ride a bike, then you can learn to fly a glider!

Start by flying, with one of our experienced instructors, in one of the three dual control two-seat gliders we have. Once you are airborne your instructor will demonstrate the basics, then offer you the controls - and away you go.

With suitable conditions and if you are feeling particularly adventurous your instructor may treat you to the unique experience of glider aerobatics. Feel the adrenaline race through you and impress your friends as the glider performs a loop or chandelle.

The cost is £45.00 each and for that you get about 25 to 30 minutes flying time. Part of the cost is for a temporary membership of the club and will entitle you to have further lessons at a fraction of the cost.

The location is between Melksham and Westbury on the A350

The date is Friday June 20th and there will have to be a few people able to start off around 5.30 pm.

We may well put on another date as some can not make the 20th.
The email response has been good for this but we could do with a few more interested people, everyone welcome.

We have had to postpone the gliding evening as we did not have enough people that were able to attend on the June date but there
were members that could make another date so here is the plan.

Friday evenings are best but with so much going on it is difficult to set a day so if interested people could
give us some dates when available we will try and sort one out. The June date was suggested because of the longer evenings
for flying so that is something to consider.

There will have to be a few people able to start off around 5.30 pm.

Thanks
