As the Three Lions continue to roar I thought it would be a shame if anyone couldn't come to Club night because of England's semi-final with Croatia, which just in case you hadn't realised will kick off at 7.00pm Wednesday evening (Club night)
After the final result on Saturday I called Alex who spoke to his fantastic team at Beamish, to see how we could ensure you could do both and a plan was hatched.
If you would like food head for the stables bar and order as normal then feel free to join us for our R3 football party in the main hall, staff will point you in the right direction. From here we will be screening the whole match live on a big screen so you don't have to miss a kick, why not even wear your England footy shirts with pride as we will be awarding a prize on the night for the best dressed R3 football fan.
The main bar in the hall will be open so you will not have to go back and forth to the stables for your drinks. I hope you can join us for what for what promises to be a great knees up and a great atmosphere (results pending)
I promise I won't talk over it. Instead we will keep the meeting brief and quick after the final whistle. I may even print off a few notes to hand out.
If football isn't your thing don't worry the seating area in the gardens next to the main hall will also be made available for those who would rather just sit out and enjoy this fantastic run of weather we are having. Here you can kick back, relax and just enjoying socialising with your PCGB friends in the lovely surroundings of Beamish Hall and simply avoid all this football fuss.
I would be interested in any feedback and thoughts.
