I've been out and about again...:)

When I was 17, (1978-1980) I worked for Eddie Grimstead Motorcycles, I had a horrid job, building all the brand new bikes out of the crates from Japan,

Once built oil change a gallon of fuel number plates and a road test.

My favourites of the time,
GS1000 EN Suzuki
DOHC 750 shaft Yamaha
Z1000 Kawasaki
CBX 1000 Honda,
Z1300 Kawasaki, lovely bike but weighed the same as a mini
Then the fabulous Yamaha YPVS RD350

Horrid job but someone had to do it,

Now you've done it [:D]. I've had 2 CBX 1000's, 2 Z1R's, a Z1B, a GPZ900, 2 Exups, 2 Fireblades, a K6 GSX-R1000, as well as some strokers before. I was 18 with a KH400, when I turned up at a Kawasaki demo day and took a Dunstall tuned Z1R flat out down the local dual carriageway . And around the same time the new GSX1100 from Sondell Sport in N London. I was playing to the crowd, and cracked it wide open in 2nd as I went past the shop. That was one big, unexpected wheelie :ROFLMAO:.
