Its Been a While !!

Had a great weekend at the Donegal De JaVu - Funny how a good majority of the road cars were Porsches [:D]

This was a tour of the classic Donegal Stages with some of the former winners and a good smattering of cars that had previously competed in the event. You know they say you should never meet your childhood heros but I strongly recommend it ....!!

Just too many highs - I haven't just worked out how to put pictures from my phone to the forum but some kindly person videoed the event in Ramelton. Now the video is long but we are in from 42:04 - 42:09 !

I remember Mike - He rallied a Sunbeam and then had a HSR Chevette as far as I can recall !

He was a regular in Donegal !

 
been a friend of mine for nearly 20 years, he owns 5 928's and a load of 944's the last car he had was a cosworth sapphire for the Rallies

I was wondering how you were doing just the other day when remembering my brake calipers came off one of your cars many years ago (for clarification for anyone else reading this, no I did not steal them [:D])

:) all good thanks!! not checked in for a while,not used the cars that much either,black one is sorn at minute and not done many miles in red one either.

Hi All

Well Im using the car as much as I can get away with - I will be putting her away maybe in 2 weekends time - Thats what I said 2 weekends ago [:D]

Hubby of my wifes friend is suffering a bit at the minute with horrible lukemia and they came to visit this weekend past. Poor fella so no need to make excuses - Me and him went for a good spin around the roads which ended up at about 3.5 hrs. We "came across" a Classic Car run that just so happened to be in our area - Fancy that [;)]

When we arrived back after a super days craic - No questions asked - No "Where were you boys until this time?"

Hes a good chap and is putting on a brave fight and just for a short time he got to behave badly and enjoy himself ! As I said any excuse !! [:)]
