An interesting assertion, Melv; I'd like to know what gives you that impression. I based my comment on the fact that it is the older cars which are having age-related events and type-related groups outside PCGB. Everyone is entitled to do as they wish of course, but I fail to see why all of this cannot take place under the umbrella of a national Porsche club - unless there is no interest in cars outside those age or model points.
