Is Traction Control Standard on Boxster

It's part of PSM (Porsche Stability management) and would be a PSM button on the dash.
You have ABS though, which is nice!
No but seriously, unless you're driving in the snow, 99% of the time the PSM will never kick in anyway on public roads, so don't worry about it The Boxster is an outstanding car, and it will feel like a real occasion every time you drive it, fantastic steering, awesome brakes, great gearbox, very chuckable and top down when the sun's out...what more could u ask for? [
There would be a switch on the centre console.
It's useful but not essential. PSM is a cleverer system, but if you really are driving in snow then you should invest in winter tyres and some relevant tuition. Neither PSM or ABS can stop you sliding off the road in really poor conditions.

You don't have it as it wasn't available on the 2.5.

TC was a pre PSM option. I have TC on my MY2000 2.7

John,
I have a question for you. Does the Boxster MY2002 (my car, fitted with PSM) have a limited slip differential fitted? When I took my car for its last MOT at my local garage the mechanic asked me if my Boxster was fitted with a limited slip differential because he could not test the brakes on the rolling road brake tester if it had one as it could damage the mechanism. I told him I did not know so as a precaution he took it out on the road and tested the brakes with the Tapley Brake testing meter. I think he was keen to drive it anyway!

A LSD isn't a Boxster option at present.

...and probably will not be for a long time: you will remember The Stig mentioning (with JC parroting it) that if the, then new, Cayman S was to be on LSD [

If there's snow this winter I'd leave it in the garage, or watch haplessly as rubber-band-tyred Fiestas overtake you.

Don't listen to him! [
Having said that, a mate experienced the same in his 325CIS except his engine kept cutting out because his DSC(?) kept kicking in, so he was bunny hopping all over the shop
