Is this oil ok to use for top up ?

Just a quick question

I have a litre of Mobil 1 5W-30 ESP formula unopened in the garage ( bought for a previous S3)

It says 504 00 / 507 00 on the back

The manual says 0W-40 , 5W-40 , 5W-50 page 179 so not identical

Could I use this for an occasional top up - or is this seriously not recommended ?
 
You probably won't need to top up, so probably a moot point anyway! What specs does it say it meets? My manual says oils should comply with ACEA A3, I suspect similar for yours. Safest would be to say "don't mix unless it's an emergency" though
 
Specs are as above Mark - thats all I know I think I will save it for emergencies - I have done about 4000 miles so far and the oil still appears full so hopefully will not need to top up
